LE SSERAFIM's 'Made My Night' Is Out, But Not on Spotify

LE SSERAFIM's second single album, "Made My Night," landed in Korea at 1 p.m. KST today, with the title track's music video arriving at midnight. If you're reading this outside Korea and already refreshed Spotify looking for it, here's the part nobody put in the teaser copy: you're not getting it there yet, and depending where you live, maybe not for another month.

Title card: LE SSERAFIM's Made My Night Is Out — global release lands Oct. 9, as of Sept 11, 2026 KST

Start with what actually happened. The MV pairs LE SSERAFIM's five members with 3D-animated Overwatch heroes D.Va and D.Mon, who launch a rescue mission after hearing the group has gone missing. The twist: the "kidnappers" turn out to be devoted fans wanting autographs. It's the group's second Overwatch tie-in, Just Jared reports; the first was tied to "Perfect Night" back in 2023, so this is a three-year-later reunion, not a one-off. The partnership doesn't stop at the video: Inven Global reports collaboration skins go live September 13 at BlizzCon's opening, with LE SSERAFIM performing on BlizzCon's closing stage the next day. If you're already headed to Anaheim for BlizzCon, that's your actual in-person shot at this comeback.

Both tracks are also entirely in English, which isn't nothing for a group whose fanbase skews as international as LE SSERAFIM's does. Sakura said the group recorded the lyrics in English specifically hoping a wider audience would connect with the song. A small, deliberate choice, not a stray detail. The chorus is blunt about it too: "You just made my night / I feel better now," built around the rush of hitting it off with someone new. No language barrier to work around here, at least.

Two Release Dates, One Inconvenient Gap

Source Music's own Weverse notice splits the world in two. Korea gets "Made My Night" today. Everywhere else officially gets it October 9 at 1 p.m. KST, nearly a month later. That's not a typo carried over from a press release; multiple outlets confirm the same split date, and it lines up with how the last couple of Source Music single-album rollouts have worked.

The collecting side runs on its own separate clock, and it's ahead of the streaming one. Per Soompi's release rundown, pre-orders opened August 28 and a track sampler dropped September 7; the physical CD started shipping worldwide through Weverse Global today, the same day as the Korea release — no October wait attached. So if you're the type who buys the album before you've heard the whole thing, that window is already open everywhere. It's specifically the streaming/listening side that's gated by region. Worth knowing before you assume "released" means "released for you."

In a statement carried by The Korea Times, the group credited their fanbase, Fearnot, for making the turnaround possible after May's full-length album:

That's not corporate copy dressed up as a quote — it's a fair read of the calendar. Four months between a full album and a new single, mid-tour, is genuinely fast for this group.

No, You Won't Find It on Spotify

I checked a few hours after the Korea drop. Searching "Made My Night LE SSERAFIM" on Spotify turns up nothing but fan-made playlists borrowing the title. No official track. Martin Cid Magazine and a separate Korean entertainment write-up both describe this as the second straight Source Music release to skip the platform, reportedly because the label is leaning on YouTube, music-show wins, and fan-community platforms rather than algorithmic playlist discovery for this comeback. I can't find a label statement confirming the reasoning outright, so treat the "why" as reported rather than official — but the absence itself is easy to verify yourself, and it was still true as of this posting.

What that means practically: if Spotify is your whole music habit, this comeback doesn't exist yet. The MV works fine on YouTube worldwide right now, no wait required. It's just the audio-only listening experience (car playlists, running mixes, whatever) that's stuck until someone uploads it somewhere you already have an account.

The Second Track Nobody's Talking About Yet

"AEIOU" is getting buried under the Overwatch news, which is a little unfair to it. The Korea Times describes it as a bold declaration of love, fearless rather than coy, a different register from the title track's giddier "night out" energy. I'd put it ahead of "Made My Night" on a first few listens; it's less obviously built for a stage show and more interesting because of that. Land wherever you land, but give it more than one pass before deciding "Made My Night" is the whole album.

So: real comeback, real Overwatch crossover, a genuinely good reason for the wait if you're outside Korea (BlizzCon, mostly), and one platform gap worth knowing about before you go looking for it in the wrong place. 7/10 for the single, mostly on "AEIOU" carrying more weight than I expected — tell me in the comments if you land somewhere different once the international release catches up.

This is a running news series, not a one-off post — new stories go up twice a day, roughly 7am and 7pm Korea time.
